If you’ve ever experienced stress, overwhelm, or burnout in the hospital or clinical setting, you’re in the right place. I’ve experienced firsthand what it feels like to be overworked and underappreciated all in the name of serving our patients. Well, my friend, you cannot give from a dry well, and the hustle culture of modern healthcare is not sustainable. Something has to change…when would now be a good time?
Over the past 10 years, I’ve been on my own personal journey out of the hustle culture of our “sick-care system” to experience a fuller more meaningful life. My own dream life of my design. This has included more restorative movement, such as walking and yoga, transitioning to a whole-food, plant-forward diet, and curating my environment to the essentials; a simplified life of my favorite people and things. A curated home, social circle, and ‘more space’ in my calendar around my favorite activities and work, and fewer of the obligatory commitments that often led to resentment.
