One-on-one Coaching

Accountability, support and encouragement on your self-care journey

You’ve tried to maintain your self-care boundaries before. You get off to a good start - but you give in to others’ demands and requests foregoing your own needs. You become over-extended and get stuck feeling last on your list.

Do any of these sound familiar?

✔ You're constantly saying I don’t have time

✔ You're always scrambling to keep up with an over-full schedule

✔ You feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day

✔ You're frequently thinking “I’m so tired” (hint, you should not feel tired all the time)

Imagine what it would feel like if you had a system with established boundaries to prioritize your own self-care AND show up in a bigger way for yourself, your family, and your patients.

What if I told you that you could...

✔ Cut down on decision overload / decision fatigue

✔ Free up mental space!!

✔ Defend your boundaries around your self-care with confidence and ease

✔ Actually enjoy your Sundays rather than looking up patients and dreading Monday morning

Introducing:

Self-care Coaching

A systems-based approach to prioritizing your own self-care with accountability, boundaries, and consistency

With One-on-one Coaching, you can:

Establish S.M.A.R.T. self-care goals focused on you

Setting S.M.A.R.T. goals is my specialty. When embarking on creating change; setting specific, measurable, achievable, realistic (but still stretches you), time-bound goals gives you something to work toward and to be able to celebrate once achieved.

Accountability to keep these promises to yourself

External accountability is beneficial when first creating change. You will not be able to quit on yourself at the first sign of a challenge or when you experience discomfort. Once the intrinsic reward is established you will be ready for your next self-care goal.

Have a sounding board for troubleshooting challenges

Being in a profession that is always “in service to others” has you dubbed as the one with all the answers. Well, we are all human and you deserve to have the space held for you to share your insights and struggles, too. It is often overlooked that just because you specialize in health and healing you may have your own personal struggles , too

3 Primary Wellness Pillars

These are the main areas we focus on within the self-care coaching model.

Movement

Our bodies were designed for total body movement which supports health, healing, and longevity. The physical benefits are widely known and discussed when it comes to exercise but it is so much more than that. Regular movement contributes to balance, strength, and flexibility, not to mention clearing the lymph system in the body and brain and creating the release of serotonin, the “feel good” hormone. The physical body is our first and only home, we take good care of it so it can take care of us for many years to come.

Nutrition

As the old saying goes…”you are what you eat.” The nutrition we provide to our bodies in the way of food, hydration, and even the air we breathe becomes the building blocks our body uses for fuel, tissue repair, and overall optimization of all the organ systems in the body. We focus on gradually adding whole foods that support the body and decreasing or eliminating those which have a negative impact on the body.

Lifestyle/Environment

Our environment is the container we live our lives in. The people we choose to keep company with are shaping our habits and setting the bar for the standard we hold ourselves to. The best way to become that future version of yourself that you’ve envisioned is to spend time with people who are already living at that level.

FAQs

1. What if I’m not in healthcare, can I still work with you?

Absolutely. My primary focus is professionals in the healthcare field, however, my self-care coaching method has also resonated with other professions “in service to others” such as teachers and busy moms.

2. What if I can’t meet at the same time each week?

The nature of healthcare lends itself to varying schedules and availability. We will schedule your weekly meeting times “together” while we are both in front of our calendars to ensure the date/times work for both of us. This is your first commitment to yourself.

3. I already feel like I don’t have any time for myself, how do I find the time for coaching?

Creating time for yourself is the first order of business when we begin working together. By prioritizing your own self-care you will actually have more time, more energy, and more white space for all the other areas of your life…and be able to enjoy it.

4. Do you have a refund policy?

The purpose of the initial discovery call is to ensure we are a “good fit” prior to booking a coaching package. I offer 1-month and 3-month coaching packages to suit all needs. If at any time you do not feel you are getting the most out of your coaching sessions please speak up so we can review the process together.

Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s essential.
