I’m a wellness and self-care coach primarily serving healthcare providers helping you to prioritize your own self-care so that you can show up as the best version of YOU.
By prioritizing your own self-care you can transition from a steady state of stress and overwhelm, toward more joy and ease, creating space in your life for the things that matter most to you.
How did I get here? Well, I’m essentially my own first case study. As a critical care nurse, I experienced first-hand the detrimental effects of extreme burnout in the high-stakes environment of the ICU. The poor food choices and over-drinking were in no way supporting my optimized health to perform at this level. And there were no hospital-led programs geared toward supporting the physical, mental, and emotional health of the staff…so I created my own. This is where my wellness and self-care journey began.
Today, I devote 100% of my time to supporting other healthcare professionals, nurses, physicians, and hospital leaders, in carving out their own self-care path to live life to the fullest.

“A systematic review published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in 2016 analyzed 19 studies and found that interventions promoting self-care and wellness were associated with decreased levels among healthcare professionals”
— Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine 2016
“A 2022 healthcare executive burnout survey found that nearly 75% of surveyed healthcare executives reported feeling burned out during the last six months of 2022, compared to 60% of respondents during the last six months of 2018.”
— WittKieffer Advisory Firm 2022
“Burnout among primary care physicians was associated with increased odds of patient dissatisfaction, medical errors, and malpractice litigation. Conversely, studies have demonstrated that healthcare providers who engage in self-care and wellness practices have greater empathy, communication skills, and patient-centered care.”
— JAMA Network Open in 2019

A little about me…
Equestrienne
I have been a lover of horses since I was a little girl. I’ve always had a way with animals and brought every stray home as a child. That continued into adulthood with a menagerie of horses, dogs, kitties, bunnies, birds, hamsters, and even a couple of guinea pigs.
My passion for horses eventually led me to the sport of dressage where I fell in love with the “process” of training the horse with imperceptible aids which cultivated a very close bond while creating a picture of effortless dancing between the horses and rider.
This was my earliest exposure to falling in love with the process rather than the destination. It’s more about who you're doing it with rather than where you’re going. The relationship you build along the way is priceless.
Vinyasa Yoga
I began my yoga journey while working in the ICU and seeking an outlet to de-stress and decompress. It was on my yoga mat that I was able to find relief from the constant chatter in the background of my mind.
I have since completed my 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification through The Yoga Alliance.
I have found my tribe, my community, and my people within this space. Spending time with like-minded people is an essential part of my healing and growth.
Travel/Adventure
Nothing sets my soul on fire like exploring and discovering new places. I love everything about traveling including the airport process, staying in hotels, and eating authentic local fare. I always have my next trip on the calendar (usually planned on my way home).
I have been to Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Paris, and Mexico. My bucket list includes a tour of the Asian continent, Bhutan, Greece, and Italy, the Maldives, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean,
Stateside some of my favorite spots are Fort Worth, TX (my second home), Devon Horse Show, PA, New York City (more specifically Park Slope, Brooklyn), Sedona, AZ, and SoBe Miami. Places I have yet to explore are whale watching in Alaska, hiking in Utah and the Redwood forest, and RVing across the country stopping at all National Parks. I’m up for almost any adventure that I haven’t been on before.
Living life to the fullest!
“We sacrifice our health in order to make money. Then we sacrifice money to recuperate our health. Then we are so anxious about the future that we do not enjoy the present. We live as if we will never die or lose our health, and then die having never really lived.”
